Passed The 70-505 Exam

Over the weekend I took and passed the Microsoft 70-505 certification exam and now have the “MCTS: .NET 3.5 Windows Forms Application Development” certification.  It was far harder than I expected, but I still ended up with a score of 914 (passing score was 700).

Just curious what you used for study materials and why you found the exam hard than you expected? I appreciate the help since I’m taking it in two weeks.

The only thing I used was the study book. It was “harder than I expected” because for as many years as I’ve been doing WinForms development (and Win32 before that), I figured there probably wasn’t any part of the API that I hadn’t used at some point. It’s actually a little surprising how much is buried in it.
