Chicago First Alert Weather: Sunny and warn day for marathoners


CHICAGO (CBS) — A sunny marathon Sunday in Chicago with temperatures reaching extremely high levels, slightly above normal. The general marathon starts at 8 am and ends about 4.5 hours later. Runners start with temperatures in the 48th district. Those finishing in 12:30 or less will see the pace soar in the Round of 64.

This night brings a chance for a light shower or two as a cold front drops into northern Illinois. Tomorrow is a lot like today. Tuesday will be in the low 70s. Milder conditions with rain on Wednesday as another entry plunges us into the 60-degree range on Thursday.
