Miami-Dade Fire Rescue is investigating a fire that broke out Sunday night at a home in North Miami.
The accident happened in the 1500 block of Northwest 131st Street.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Battalions 3 and 4 responded to the scene.
Samantha Delpech told NBC 6 that she is the reason everyone survived.
According to Delpesh, she was the only one awake when the fire started and she smelled smoke.
“I took the baby. I have two babies inside and I said ‘give me the baby,'” Delpesh said. – This is my life.
Delpech told NBC 6 the house had no smoke detectors and he doesn’t know how the fire started.
Recovery crews were on the scene as the family packed the rest of their belongings into luggage to evacuate.
