Victim dies from gunshot wound in Antioch parking lot

ANTIOCH, Calif. (KRON) — A man has died after being shot in an Antioch parking lot, according to the Antioch Police Department.

At 11:55 a.m. Friday, police responded to a report of multiple shots fired in the 2600 block of Belmont Lane. Officers found a male victim with at least one gunshot wound, police said.

Officers began administering first aid until paramedics arrived. The victim eventually succumbed to his injuries, police said.
